I'm looking forward to a fun filled day with family and celebrating the freedoms we have everyday. I am so grateful to those who have fought for those freedoms. Happy 4th everyone!

Inspirations

So I am finally feeling inspired for designs of Caleb's nursery. I hate that it has taken so long and right before we are about to move, but I am looking forward to putting ideas into action someday. My inspiration came from a bib we have been using for Caleb. It has great colors to it and a kind of retro yet modern feel to it. Cory and I loved these bibs as soon as we found them so I don't know why it has taken me so long. But my head is whirling with ideas that I can pull out of this simple bib. What are your inspirations when it comes to design?

Caleb loves his fort!

Caleb & Squash

Caleb's first taste of real food, hmmmm squash. He loved it and ate the whole jar!

And a cute one of Caleb playing.

Stewart Falls Hike

So for the last weekend my dad would be with us in Utah before they move away to Ohio, we decided it would be fun to go on a hike. Cory and I heard of a pretty easy hike up American Fork Canyon called Stewart Falls that sounded promising. Katie and Colin had hiked it before, so there was more reinforcement that this would be fun for all. Little did we know there would still be snow. (At least I know I hadn't thought of it.) But it was still a lot of fun and our first hike with Caleb. He wasn't a big fan of the carrier we put him in. Well, he liked it a lot at first but then got tired. Here are some pictures from our hike. Thanks for everyone that came! I know Mom and Dad had fun!

Doesn't Caleb look like an experienced hiker?

Claire was such a trooper! Here she is with Kylie and Kasey.

We made it to the falls!

We should all go hiking more often!

Caleb always wants to help...

Caleb insisted on being carried around wherever I went today. Which resulted in him helping me do laundry and getting his picture taken. It's always fun with mommy! haha.

Easter Sunday

Enjoy the many pictures we took on Easter!

Caleb found his basket!

And he knocked it over to eat his spoons...

I had many pictures of Naomi giving Caleb this face...

I just thought this was a funny one of all of us...

This was going to be a funny face one but the boys didn't get the memo.

I love how artsy this one is of Janey.

And Cory has quick photography skills.
